Glorieta
Today's weather (78 and sunny) reminded me of the awesome experiences I had these last few years at Lifeway's National Collegiate Week in Glorieta New Mexico. It is the absolute best way to start a semester. For sure.

Life in Haiti
My recent trip to Haiti left me full of hope and love for the Haitian people. Not exactly what I had expected before leaving for 10 days of hard work in the sun clearing debris and doing demolition for The Joy House in Gressier.
There are people in Haiti who have exponentially more than most Americans. They know who they are and where their joy comes from.

Lets look at new guitar gear
The Vox AC4 is an all tube guitar amplifier and it sounds amazing. Volume. Tone. Watt switch between 4, 1, and 1/4 watt so you can really get a sincere tube overdrive. It is definitely on my list of guitar gear to purchase in the future. $250
Even though I have yet to play on it I am convinced that the Electro Harmonix Memory Boy Deluxe is going to set the standard for all delay pedals much like its predecessor the Memory Man did so many years ago. $180
Another thing I haven't played on but have a good feeling about is the MXR boost/overdrive. I have the Boost MC 401 and I absolutely love it and from what I gather the boost section of this pedal is the same as the MC 401. $140
